Paul David Combs served as a Teacher, Principal and Head of Schools for forty years, with thirty-three of those years administrating schools in six different countries. His deep passion for history and his own Appalachian ancestry inspired A Time for Every Season, a sweeping multi-generational novel based on his family, who shaped Breathitt County, Kentucky before, during and after the Civil War. Readers will enjoy finding out what was left standing, “once the house was divided”.
